This body of work explores the intersection of analogue and digital photography through personal narratives and landscapes. I’m particularly interested in what happens to our memories over time. To examine my own identity this way, I have used archival family photographs reproduced through the use of a handheld iPhone and combined with multiple images in digital postproduction. This technique has generated multidimensional narratives whose dreamlike atmosphere becomes a scrim through which individual moments can be expanded, examined, questioned or simply recalled. The strong use of colour is another tool with which the boundaries of time and place have been pushed.
