Cutting cod tongues has been work for Norwegian children for generations. Be amazed by Ylva and Tobias.

When Atlantic cod migrate to the Norwegian coast to spawn, children in the village of Myre sharpen their knives and get ready for work. Nine-year-old Ylva visits from Oslo to see her grandparents and to learn the traditional art of cod tongue cutting. Tobias, already skilled with a knife, has worked on the docks since he was 6. Now, as he tutors Ylva, we follow their friendship and get to see how children take on responsibility for work, life, and each other.
