A woman’s personal struggle with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and her political fight to make it known to the world.

After experiencing a profound fatigue that prevents her from getting across her living room, Jennifer begins documenting her situation. A diagnosis of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (M.E., commonly known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) opens up a new world. From her bed, Jennifer contacts fellow sufferers through social media to search for answers through their heartbreaking stories. Often perceived as a psychological issue, the commonality of symptoms shared by sufferers of M.E. indicates there is something else at work. Unrest is as much a memoir of Jennifer’s life, as it is a medical mystery.
