How to Sponsor.
The festival is scheduled to take place January 29, 30, 31, 2010, at three local Peterborough venues: Showplace, Market Hall, and the Peterborough Public Library.
Here is how you can support ReFrame, Peterborough's International Film Festival:
-
Become a sponsor by making a financial donation to the festival.
Sponsors contribute an amount of their choosing ranging from $50 to $1000, but all sponsors receive the same benefits. Sponsors are listed prominently in the program and are welcome to display information in the Community Resources area of the festival. Sponsors also have the option of sponsoring a specific film or films and being listed in the program with that film. If they wish they can provide a live introduction at the film screening. Charitable tax receipts are available upon request for donations over $25. Please fill out the attached form.
Please note: To be listed in the program, sponsors must confirm their contributions by September 30. -
Place an advertisement in the festival program.
A business-card-size ad is available for $40 and a double ad for $75. The programs are available about six weeks before the festival and are given to people when they purchase their festival passes. Please note: ad design must be provided by the business/organization by September 12 in one of the formats suggested in the attached info sheet. -
Become a volunteer.
Members of your organization can actively support the festival by volunteering before and/or during the festival. (link to the volunteer page) -
Help to promote the festival.
You can also help by putting up posters, announcing the festival at your upcoming events, and sending out a media release to your distribution lists.
Note: Organizations and businesses sponsoring and promoting the festival receive excellent visibility in the community. Support for the festival demonstrates a commitment to education, social justice, and environmental issues, all of which are so wonderfully documented in the films/stories shown during the three-day festival. ReFrame Film Festival hopes you will consider making a contribution and becoming one of our sponsors for the 2010 event.
