How can I become a volunteer?
It's simple.

- 1. E-mail Daphne at volunteer@reframefilmfestival.ca and ask to be a volunteer.
- 2. Fill out and return the short volunteer form that Daphne will provide via e-mail.
- 3. Based on your form, you will be assigned a volunteer job.
- 4. To assist you in knowing what is expected of a volunteer please read the volunteer responsibility sheet
Volunteering for the Festival
Volunteers are crucial to the smooth operation of the ReFrame Peterborough International Film Festival. Each year, ReFrame depends on the skills and dedication of over 100 volunteers to fill various positions prior to and during the festival. We strive to be a friendly, inclusive team. We show our gratitude for the efforts of all our volunteers.

What is the expected commitment of an Organizing Committee Member?
An Organizing Committee Member attends monthly meetings and participates in a subcommittee. The subcommittees are:

- Programming Committee
- Volunteer Committee
- Promotions Committee
- Advertising Committee
- REELkids Committee
- Changing Our World Committee
- Special Events Committee
2. Festival Weekend Volunteers
Volunteer recruitment begins in early December. If interested e-mail volunteer@reframefilmfestival.ca
What do you do as a Festival Weekend volunteer?
A Festival Weekend Volunteer is responsible for taking one or two work shifts during the festival weekend. Weekend volunteers are generally responsible for taking tickets, audience counts, ushering, program distribution, patron assistance, and merchandise sales.
3. Festival Supervising Volunteers
Volunteer recruitment begins in early December. If interested e-mail volunteer@reframefilmfestival.ca
What's involved in being a Festival Supervisor?
A Festival Weekend Supervisor takes two shifts during festival weekend, oversees the other volunteers during the shift, and introduces the film if it is not sponsored by a local organization. Supervisors are also responsible for solving any minor problems that arise while they are on duty.
