ReFrame Film Festival returns January 30 – February 8, 2026!
Now in its 22nd season, ReFrame brings together over 40 of the year’s most important, thought-provoking, and inspiring documentary films rooted in social and environmental justice, alongside live performances, artist talks, workshops, media arts exhibits, and panel discussions.
ReFrame 2026 will once again follow a hybrid format:
In-Person Program — January 30 to February 1 in downtown Nogojiwanong / Peterborough, doors opening at 4PM on January 30 at Market Hall and Showplace.
Virtual Program — February 3 to 8, available on-demand across Canada. (Please note: no virtual films on Monday, February 2.)

HYBRID PASS
The Complete Experience!
The Hybrid Pass provides full access to all films and events in our In-Person Program (Jan 30 – Feb 1) PLUS full access to the Virtual Program (Feb 3-8).
Doors open for the In-Person Program at Market Hall and Showplace at 4PM on Friday, January 30, with inaugural screenings at 4:45PM.
The Virtual Program is a selection of just over half the films in this year’s lineup*, viewable online from anywhere in Canada.

IN-PERSON PASS
Provides access to all events in our In-Person Program, including a selection of over 40 curated films PLUS performances, workshops, exhibits, panels and Q&As.
Films will be screened at two locations in downtown Nogojiwanong / Peterborough: Market Hall and Showplace.
Doors for the 2026 In-Person Program will open at both venues at 4PM on Friday, January 30, with inaugural screenings at 4:45PM.

WATCH-WITH-A-FRIEND VIRTUAL PASS
Provides access to the films in our Virtual Program exclusively.
This Virtual Pass Type is priced for those watching with a partner, friend, or loved one — a simple way to support ReFrame and our filmmakers if more than one person will be viewing together.
The Virtual Program is a selection of just over half the films in this year’s lineup*, viewable on-demand from anywhere in Canada.
Regular: CA$75 CA$60
SINGLE VIRTUAL PASS
Provides access to the films in our Virtual Program exclusively.
This Virtual Pass type is intended for those who plan to enjoy our online films solo.
The Virtual Program is a selection of just over half the films in this year’s lineup*, viewable on-demand from anywhere in Canada.
Regular: CA$60 CA$48
* We wish we could share our entire lineup of films online, but the cost (having to pay film fees twice to share them online), and licensing restrictions (many films aren’t available for online licensing) prevent us from doing so.
This is why Virtual Passes are less than half the price of In-Person Passes.
