VOLUNTEER WITH US!

FESTIVAL VOLUNTEERS

Festival volunteers are responsible for key audience services such as box office and merchandise sales and ushering, as well as special roles such as shift supervision and stage management.

We’ll be accepting expressions of interest for volunteering at ReFrame 2027 later this fall.  In the meantime, please check out our Bingo, PAC and Board Member volunteering opportunities below! 

Volunteers are the heart of ReFrame, and we are incredibly grateful for your service.


PROGRAMMING ADVISORY COMMITTEE

Help shape the ReFrame festival program!  Programming Advisory Committee members review films, share perspectives, and take part in thoughtful conversations that guide what audiences see on screen.  This volunteer role runs from runs June to October each year, with a monthly time commitment of approximately 25 hours.  We’re currently accepting expressions of interest until May 22, 2026.

BINGO VOLUNTEERS

Bingo volunteers will help us raise over $15,000 this year by volunteering for a handful of shifts at the Delta Bingo & Gaming Centre in Nogojiwanong / Peterborough. 

Responsibilities include providing great customer service, assisting with call backs of bingo winners, and helping to ensure a clean and welcoming atmosphere at the Gaming Centre.

We are looking for individuals who are able to commit to a minimum of 1 shift once every 3 months.  Shifts are 3 hours in duration, and can take place afternoons, evenings or weekends (generally scheduled about a month in advance).

Bingo volunteers must be 18 years of age or older, and must have reliable transportation to and from Delta Bingo & Gaming Centre on Clonsilla Ave. in Nogojiwanong / Peterborough.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Board of Directors is the governing body of ReFrame Film Festival, responsible for strategic decision-making, policy development, fundraising, and ensuring the overall health of the organization.

We currently have up to four available Director positions for community-minded individuals able to commit to this important work, with a term beginning at our June 2026 AGM.

Board terms are typically a three-year commitment, beginning in June following our Annual General Meeting.
