ReFrame Artistic Advisory Panel
Advising the Board and Collective is the 3-member Artistic Advisory Panel (AAP), made up of well-respected working artists. The panel ensures ReFrame has input from filmmakers and other visual artists that are active members of the Nogojiwanong (Peterborough) artistic community. The AAP provides support and feedback about the festival’s content, structure, direction and community programming.
Ann Jaeger is a cross disciplinary artist whose work intersects literary, digital, textile and visual arts. Her creative energies have taken form as a published poet, a freelance arts writer, an actor, costume and set designer, and stage technician. Her textile work and paintings have been exhibited in solo and collective exhibitions and performances. Ann is the creator, writer and driving force behind the arts and culture blog: Trout in Plaid. Wayne Eardley is a Montreal-born award-winning photographer and filmmaker living in Peterborough. He originally studied photography and film at Ryerson University. His wide-ranging portfolio includes award-winning still photography, film, and video that seeks to marry always, as he says, “the image and the story.” (http://www.wayneeardley.com/).
Mike Munn is a Peterborough-based, award-winning film editor. Films he has edited have played at Cannes, Berlin, Venice, Sundance and TIFF. He edited Sarah Polley’s Stories We Tell, which was short listed for the documentary Oscar, as well as being voted one of the 10 best Canadian films of all time. Mike continues to regularly consult on independent films and to seek opportunities to collaborate with filmmakers, whether they are firmly established or just starting out.
