We are looking for 4 – 6 individuals who are able to commit to a minimum of 1 shift once every 3 months. Shifts are 21/4 hours, and can take place afternoons, evenings or weekends (generally scheduled about a month in advance).

Bingo volunteers must be 18 years of age or older, and must have reliable transportation to and from Delta Bingo & Gaming Centre in Peterborough.

The Board of Directors is the governing body of the ReFrame Film Festival, responsible for strategic decision-making, policy development, fundraising, and ensuring the overall health of the organization.

We currently have one available general Director position for a community-minded individual.

Board terms are typically a three-year commitment, beginning in June following our Annual General Meeting.

The Programming Advisory Committee is a volunteer committee of 7-9 members including the Lead Programming Advisor and Creative Director. The committee works with the Creative Director to identify and develop programming themes in the creation of a cohesive festival program which meets the mission and mandate of the organization.

Committee members review and discuss films in at least two of several categories including, but not limited to: Art, Environment, Indigenous Rights, Health, Education and Science, LGBTQ2S+ Rights, Feminist Issues, International Human Rights, Regional Issues and Youth & Aging. Committee members are expected to watch films, engage in critical conversations and provide as broad a spectrum of insights as possible. As such, selections will be made to ensure a diverse group of individuals comprise the committee. Film industry experience is not required. We are looking for passionate people who have a connection to the topics being discussed.

The committee will form in June 2023 and disband in October 2023. Committee members should expect a time commitment of approximately 20 hours a month during this time and ideally be available for in-person meetings in Nogojiwanong/Peterborough. Committee members are required to watch films in a timely manner, adhere to the committee terms of reference, and maintain confidentiality in all matters.
