Dreda Blow’s Unstaged is a short dance exploring the rigours and triumphs of working as a professional ballet dancer, the inevitable ‘final bow’, and the identity-crisis that follows. With humour and heartbreak, Dreda reflects on what has been fulfilled, what has been expressed, and what she still needs to say. Dreda Blow is a dancer, choreographer and arts educator. Following a 14-year ballet career in Europe she moved with her family to Peterborough where she continues to teach, perform and create new work.
This performance follows the screening of Unbound and Big Moves.
