for In-Person Screenings & Virtual Films
Passholders DO NOT NEED to reserve tickets*
If you have purchased a ReFrame Film Festival Pass (In-Person, Virtual or Hybrid), you DO NOT NEED to buy tickets, reserve seats or pre-order films, either In-Person or in the Virtual Theatre.
*The only exception being for Opening Night: Red Fever, for which tickets are sold separately.
Buying individual tickets
If you are not a passholder and would like to purchase individual standalone tickets for In-Person or Virtual films, you can do so from a film page in our ReFrame Film Guide 2025. Navigate to the film you wish to see, and click on one of the following buttons:
In-Person tickets
When you click the “Buy In-Person Ticket” button, you’ll be taken to a second film page on Eventive (our ticket sales service provider), with an “Order Tickets” button.
Clicking this button will bring up the “Checkout” screen, where you can accept the suggested ticket price, or choose your own (all films are PWYC). You also have the option to make a greatly appreciated donation if you’re able to.
If you have an existing Eventive account that you’ve used with ReFrame in the past, enter that accounts email address here. If this is your first time at ReFrame, enter your email address to create your account. Then enter your full name and create a password for your Eventive account. Clicking “Register” will complete your account creation. You will only need to do this once. Subsequent orders placed while logged in to Eventive will use your account.
Finally, you’ll be presented with a payment dialog, where you can enter your debit or credit card details. These details will be saved in Eventive to expedite future ticket purchases.
Once your order is complete, check your email for confirmation and a digital QR code ticket that you can display on your mobile device, or print out and present at the box office. You may also enter your mobile phone number to receive your ticket via SMS text message.
Virtual tickets
When you click the “Buy Virtual Ticket” button, you’ll be taken to the film page in our Eventive Virtual Theatre.
From here, click the “Pre-order now” button. If you have an existing Eventive account from previous festival years, enter the email address you used for that account to log in.
If this is your first time at ReFrame, enter your email address to create a new account. You will only need to do this once.
Finally, you can accept the suggested ticket price, or choose your own (all films are PWYC). Enter your debit or credit card details, and click “Pre-order now”, to complete your purchase.
Check your email for confirmation, and a link to “Watch Now” when the film becomes available on January 27, 2025.
Viewing your purchased tickets
You can view all of your ticket purchases by visiting your Eventive account ticket page here: https://reframe2025.eventive.org/tickets
Log in to your Eventive account by clicking the “Login” button in the top right corner of the page, and enter your Eventive account email address and password.
Once logged in, you can view your tickets by clicking the tickets icon in the top right corner of the page.
From here, you can view, download or transfer all of your tickets. Click the “Manage” button next to a film screening for more options.
Cancelling or refunding your individual ticket purchases
Unfortunately, individual ticket sales cannot be cancelled or refunded from the account dashboard. If you require a ticket cancellation or refund, please email with your order details, and we’ll be happy to help.
